I normally go on weekeneds to wash clothes so my daughter and danika can play. They would have their barbie dolls and I would pick up food for them to have their picnic. Demetra was also so kind and with smiles. She helped me out so much when I was pregnant last year when I almost lost my baby. Today finding out after the funeral was held that she had past I cried and knowing that I wouldn't hear here voice agian. I prayed so hard that she would get over this cough and cold that she has been fighting for a while. My tears flow constantly now knowing I won't hear her laughter at work or when Danika would come over and play with my daughter. This was a tremendous loss for everyone that knew her. She will be truly missed and remembered.

With a heavy heart I extend my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Davis/Newton family especially the Apple of her eye, the Love of her life, her baby girl Danika.
Although still shocked and in disbelief after hearing of Demetra's aka DeeDee's (as we called her) passing knowing that she's been delivered from her pain and suffering brings a small smile but doesn't lessen the pain of losing such a kindhearted person and friend.
As a former co-worker of DeeDee's all I can say is to know her would only be to know that there was a good laugh coming! I will forever cherish and hold dear the many many many RLOL moments that's been shared.
There's no doubt that DeeDee will be missed by her family who loves her dearly but also by those of us given the pleasure of getting to know her.

Rest in peace DeeDee! You and your presence are truly missed by your co-workers as well as me.
The hardest part is knowing that after bidding you farewell on tomorrow I'll never see, hear you laugh, or run into you again; instead I'm looking forward to sharing more laughs when we meet again!
