Digna Valdez Obituary

Digna 'Mami' Valdez CLEWISTON - Mrs. Digna "Mami" Valdez was called to be with her Creator on July 13, 2010. She called the City of Clewiston her home. Mrs. Valdez is survived by her mother, Ramona Fernández; her husband of 51 years, Héctor Valdez; her nine children, Jorge, Pablo and Christina (Orlando), Zaida, Nora, and Luisa (New York), Daniel (Puerto Rico), Yaray, Erica (Miami); and her 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The Family celebrated her "Life's Homecoming" July 15, 2010, in the Akin Davis Funeral Home. She was laid to rest in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clewiston. We will miss your advice, your words of encouragement. We will continue to practice everything you taught us. For now it's a see you later, until our time with our Lord is to come.
