Blackville, South Carolina - Gene Simms Owens, Sr., 87, passed away at his home surrounded by family on January 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Dyches Funeral Home Chapel, 11372 Ellenton Street, Barnwell, S. C. with Rev. Jay Fanning officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Barnwell County Memorial Gardens, Barnwell, S. C.
