Geraldine Jones Norris

Geraldine J. Norris LEESVILLE - Geraldine Jones Norris passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born March 27, 1939, to Dial and Olivia Bartley Jones. She was a member of Christ Community Church, formerly St. Paul's Church, in Leesville, SC. Mrs. Norris was a retired textile worker and former employee of Jackie Hite's Bar-B-Que in Leesville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed, but never forgotten. She is survived by her husband, Jerald Norris, and her six children, Lynne (Steve) McCormick of Leesville, Theresa (Dean) Crepes of Leesville, Keith (Stephanie) Norris of Leesville, Mike Norris of Columbia, Ricky (Anita) Norris of West Columbia, and Terri (Buddy) Padgett of Monetta. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law, Thelma Jones of Ward, SC, Arlene Day of Leesville, SC and Betty Jones of Mt. Washington, KY. Mrs. Norris was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Hub Jones, Jack Jones, Joe Jones, and a sister-in-law, Viola Jones. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2nd at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Funeral service will be held at Christ Community Church in Leesville on Friday, March 3rd at 4:00 p.m. The burial will be private.
