Columbia, South Carolina - Mrs. Hazel Price Rauch, 79, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. She was born August 18, 1941 to the late William Odell and Minnie Gillian Price.
Mrs. Rauch was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and was a lifelong child care provider. She loved sending cards.
Surviving include her son, Anthony Dale Rauch (Sherry); daughter, Susan Watford (Brad); sisters, Ellen Royster, Judy Case, Jean Keisler; her much adored grandchildren, Tristan Jarrett Mullen, Sophie-Grace Kai Rauch, and Samuel Bayliss "Bay" Watford; and a close friend, Anne Thompson.
Mrs. Rauch was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jimmy Dale Rauch and brother, Dwight H. Price "Sonny"
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church or Meals on Wheels. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.

Our family has wonderful memories of Hazel, "Jimmie D" and Sherwood Park.Our children were raised in the best neighborhood ever!The friends we made in Sherwood Park are our friends for a lifetime.We will always remember community club[where Hazel was instrumental] and her famous Easter Egg Hunts.Susan and Andy We Love You!
