Janet Snipes Obituary

Janet L. Snipes BISHOPVILLE Memorial service for Janet Lynn Snipes, 51, will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Cobb will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Ms. Snipes passed away July 14, 2016. Born in Camden, SC, February 10, 1965, she was the daughter of Patricia Morrell McCathern and the late Hearl Snipes. Ms. Snipes loved her children with all her heart. She enjoyed cooking and her yearly vacation to the beach. She never missed the opportunity to celebrate Halloween. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Herbert McCathern; children, Heather (Bethany Zachary) Snipes and Brett Nobles; stepbrothers, Tyson McCathern and West (Becky) McCathern; niece, Lauren McCathern, nephew, Luke McCathern. So very sorry to hear about my niece, Janet. She was a special lady and loved by many and will be missed by many. My condolences to my sister Pat and brother-in-law Herbert and especially to my great nephew Bret and great niece Heather. Mine and Becky's love to everyone.
