Irmo, South Carolina - Jeremy Haynsworth Pitts age 42, died on September, Saturday, 18, 2022, beloved husband of 5 years to Tia Gayle Brown Pitts.
Born in Sumter, he was the son of Grace Ellen Jackson McDuffie and the late William Carroll Pitts. Jeremy graduated in 2003 from the Citadel where he was a member of the Alumni Club. He was employed with Renu Energy Solutions. He was an avid Gamecock fan. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are: two children, Jackson Haynsworth Pitts and Harper Lily Pitts; one sister, Allison Pitts Rogers; father and mother in laws, Jimmy and Tracy Ardis and Ricky Brown.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Jackson Pitts and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Jackson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00pm. Inurnment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm at Bullock Funeral Home on Friday, September 23, 2022.
