Joann Tidwell Obituary

ALLENDALE - Joann Tidwell, 73, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax, SC.

Miss Tidwell was a native of Allendale and the daughter of the late Thomas Edeson and Mary Skinner Tidwell. She had retired from Westinghouse-Micarta Division, Hampton, was owner of Jo's Hair Castle Beauty Salon and a member of Mt. Arnon Baptist Church. Jo Jo's loves were dancing, bowling, playing bridge, and especially cooking and baking for her friends.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Keith Smith Funeral Service with Pastor Martin Matthis officiating. Interment will be private in St. Nicholas Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her beloved friends, Sandy and Max Brunson and their family of Hampton. She was predeceased by her special pet dog, 'Honey'.

Friends will gather one hour prior to service at Keith Smith Funeral Service, 128 Water Street, Allendale, SC. 803-584-2492.

Memorial contributions may be made to Allendale County Hospital-CPR Fund, P.O. Box 218, Fairfax, SC 29827.
