West Columbia, South Carolina - Julian F. Hartley, Sr., 79, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00-7:00PM at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC 29072. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, May 5, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Pastor David Spears and Rev. Ray Wrobel officiating. Burial will be at Ridgecrest Memorial Park in Batesburg following the funeral service.
Mr. Hartley was born in Neeses, SC and attended Neeses schools. He retired from route sales. Mr. Hartley was a member of the Columbia Classic Chevy Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rosie Hartley; and his son, Julian F. Hartley, Jr., both of West Columbia.
Mr. Hartley is predeceased by his parents, C.J. Hartley and Jeanette Wolfe Nettles, as well as his brothers, Billy, Gary and Ronald Nettles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Side Baptist Church, 2100 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29169.
