January 7, 1958 - September 13, 2025

Lexington, South Carolina - Lawrence F. Pearson, III, 67, of Lexington, SC passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was born on January 7, 1958 in Greenville, SC.

Larry was a graduate of The Citadel. He was a Chief Warrant Officer and retired Army veteran. He never met a stranger, was a loving husband and father, and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lana Pearson; daughters, Heather Swingle (Randy) and Lauren Pearson who were his best friends; grandchildren, Dillon and Anabelle Swingle; sisters, Carol Todd and Paula Pearson; and nieces & nephews, Reagan Gassaway and Vanessa, Ashley, John, & David Todd.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd., Columbia, SC 29229.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police (https://scfop.org/donate/) or to The Wounded Warrior Project (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate).
