Surviving are his wife, Hideko Tachibana “Heidi” Evett; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Peter Paul of McEwen, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Nancy Evett of Gilbert; sisters and brother-in-law, Rachael and Junior Shrader of Scottsboro, Ala. and Grace Murphy of Decatur, Ala.; and grandchildren, Erica Springer of McEwen, Tenn. and Brittany and Heather Evett of Gilbert. He was predeceased by son, Kenny Evett, four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with entombment in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Rev. Ron Bryan will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service.

I remember visiting on some summers and all the fun that I had with the family.

Levi and I worked years ago at Dorn VA Hospital in the Fee Basis Department. Levi was a beautiful man who would make you laugh and always showed compassion to everyone. He will truly be missed.
