Lila Armetha Gulledge

December 23, 1939 - January 13, 2025

Leesville, South Carolina - Lila Armetha Gulledge, 85, of Leesville, SC, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. Born in Leesville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Avon Rikard and Ella Lou Taylor Rikard. She was married to the late Lonnie Eugene Gulledge. Mrs. Gulledge was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church. In her later years, as her health declined, she found comfort in worshiping through televised services.

Surviving are her sons, Jack O'Neal (Patrice), Dale M. O'Neal (Debby), and Mark A. O'Neal; grandchildren, Melissa Hutchins (Marcus), Summer Brewer (Greg), Gail Fisher (Tim), Maranda O'Neal, Brandy Tindal, Whitney Baker (Brandon) and Caroline O'Neal; along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Earl Rikard (Judy) and Verl Rikard. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Timothy L. O'Neal, Jerry T. O'Neal and Todd T. O'Neal; and a brother, Layman Rikard.

The memorial service for Mrs. Gulledge will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 17th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Rev. Mendle Baker officiating.
