Mrs. Baroody, widow of George N. Baroody, Sr., passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008. Born in Florence, she was the daughter of the late William Clyde Boswell and Ruth Thigpin Boswell. She had been an area resident since 1953 and a member of North Columbia Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Floyd and husband, Robert of Durham, NC; son and daughter-in-law, George N. Baroody, Jr., and wife, Nancy of Ridgeway; son, David Baroody of Cayce; grandchildren, Jason Baroody (Trish), Jennifer Baroody, Sarah Baroody, and Jessica Fulks (Chris); brother, Billy Boswell of Ridge Springs; sister-in-law, Donna Boswell. Mrs. Baroody was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Boswell.
