Linda Jean (Major) Fuller

February 14, 1958 - January 1, 2025

Houston, Texas - Linda Jean (Major) Fuller (66) of Houston Texas, passed away on January 1, 2025, after a long illness. Born on February 14, 1958, in Columbia, South Carolina, Linda was the beloved daughter of Leon Sr. and Estelle Howard. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother that touched all that knew her.

She graduated from Columbia High School and attended Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina; but later decided to start a loving family. She was known for her special kindness, compassion, and dedication to her children.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed reading the Holy Bible and spending time with family, and friends. Linda loved listening to her musical best friends Michael Jackson and Tramaine Jackson.

Linda is survived by her mother, Estelle Howard; her children, Charity Major (Zack), Alfred "AJ" Major, and Priscilla Major; former spouse and father of her children, Alfred L. Major; her loving mother-in-law, Zora Pitt; her stepchildren, Anthony McConico, Dexton McConico, Deshaune Fuller, and Cameron Beckett; her grandchildren, Nikeshia McDaniels (Charity), Desmond McDaniels (Charity), Christian Woods-Major (Trina), Shanaj Major (Shaneke), and Jayden Bridges (Charity); her brothers, Reverend Dr. Douglas Howard (Ponzetta), Leon Howard Jr., Leroy Howard, Maurice "Ricky" Howard (Ann), and Willie Howard (LaNiesha); her sisters, Ruth Ellis (Clyde), Carolyn Garrick, and Elouise Bracy (Alvin); her brother-in-law, Roy Fuller; her sisters-in-law, Delores (Michael) Hayes, and Marilyn Fuller; her longtime friend, Agnus Haridson (William); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church and military families, and friends who will forever cherish her memories.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Howard Sr.; husband, Dexton "Sonny Boy" Fuller, Jr., and grandson, Michael "JD" Major.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia, South Carolina 29203.

Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Palmetto Cemetery, 5101 Fairfield Road, Columbia, South Columbia 29202.
