Mr. Hallman died Sunday May 16, 2010. Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Erwin Daniel and Carrie Bessie Snelgrove Hallman. He had retired from Lexington County School District # 1 and was an Army veteran of WW II.
Surviving are stepchildren, Betty Ann Hobbs, Linda Joyce Heywood, Roger Heywood (Karen), and Marvin Heywood (Jane Ellen), brothers, Elbert, Joe and Willie Hallman, sisters, Martha Kyzer, Delia Rhoden and Leona Kyzer, 13 stepgrandchildren and a number of stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Vina Mae Derrick Heywood Hallman, and a stepson, David Heywood.
