I have fond memories of Mark from college having met him our freshman year. His laugh was out of this world and his smile touched everyone around him. I will miss him and it will never be the same going back to Columbia without him being there. My deepest sympathies to the Waid family.

Mark-
Your laughter will never leave me. Even though it had been ages since I had seen you, the moments we spent together in the American School and Hilton Head will always be fondly remembered. I always felt I could coast through any danger zone with you at my side.
Matt- my heart reaches out to you, my friend. I will find the time to see you soon.
To the rest of the Waid family- I extend my love and deepest sympathies.

About 5 years ago a few buddies and myself went into a bar called Roccos that we really had never been to. Well 5 years later, we are all moved on and grown older, we still come back. You were one of the first people I met and I remember shaking your hand and feeling instantly that I had known you for years. Every weekend for 5 years you were awesome man. You truly cared about people and losing you will affect many people. Hopefully, we will all learn to live life with the joy that you lived it. I know Jamie, Balush, and the crew will need you to look down from time to time. Thanks for always putting others first. Every time I come in ill always look to the right and see you leaning against the wall by Balush. From me, Jrat, Logan, Goddy, and everyone else, we love and miss ya buddy.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I became friends with Mark when we were both living at Whaley Mills and attending USC. I last saw him a few years ago in 5 Points. He had such a huge heart and always made me laugh. He was such a great guy. My heart goes out to his family. I'm keeping y'all in my prayers. We lost one of the good guys. God Bless.

Mark, you gave me my first job in Columbia while in college. You took care of your employees, your colleagues, friends, and even people you had never met. Some of my great friends, I met through you and your business. For that, I am eternally grateful. Smile down on us from time to time, especially the Gamecocks who need it! God Bless you and your family.
