Mary Sharpe Obituary

LEXINGTON - Services for Mary Ellen Mathias Sharpe, 71, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Red Bank Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 26, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mrs. Sharpe passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Martha Dooley Mathias. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Ernest E. Sharpe, son, Carl Wyatt Sharpe, daughters, Sharon Lynn Sharpe Steele and Wanda Jane Sharpe Smith (O'Dell), sisters, Patsy M. Dailey, Linda Leaphart, Janelle Martin, Kay M. Bennett and Donna Walter, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Gary Ernest Sharpe and a daughter, Phyllis Lisa Sharpe.

To the Family.. I sure am sorry for the lost. God has a good place for her . Now he will take care of her each day. WE all love Mary Ellen.
