Michael Harper Obituary
January 29, 1958 - February 25, 2024
Lexington, South Carolina - Michael Harper, 66, passed away Sunday, February 25th, 2024. He was born January 29th, 1958 in Columbus, OH to Raymond and Sharon Harper.
Mr. Harper is survived by his wife, Valarie Harper; daughter, Abigail and her husband, Ben Fordree; son, Daniel Harper; brother, Stephen; sister, Nanci; and granddaughters, Harper and Bekah Fordree.
Michael was a member of Abundant Life Assembly in West Columbia, South Carolina. He was employed at Allied Air Enterprises where he worked for over twenty years. Michael will be truly missed. He was always ready with a listening ear or to give a kind word. He was generous with his time, talents and resources. Mike was a loving husband, a proud father, a doting Grampy, and a loyal friend. His legacy will live on through those he loved.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd., Lexington, S.C. 29073. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends for food and fellowship at Abundant Life Assembly directly after the services. Please join us at 105 Lincoln St, West Columbia, SC 29170.
Memorials can be made to the Nancy K Perry Children's Shelter in Lexington, S.C.

Mr. Michael was a dear friend and a beautiful soul. He was brilliant but humble. He showed empathy to all. A man of deep faith and great character. He made math and science easy to understand! What a great philosopher and friend! My deepest sympathies to his dear family. I know he is walking streets of gold.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Mike and I worked at Allied together for many years starting back in Blackville. He loved his family as he talked of you often. Always willing to help and was a great conversationist. Praying for comfort for you all. He will be missed
