Nancy Cassey Obituary

Nancy Cassey COLUMBIA - A Homegoing Service for Ms. Nancy Cassey will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, with burial to follow at St. Mark Cemetery. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, is in charge of the services. Ms. Cassey entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2012 at the Life Care Center in Columbia, SC. Born in SC, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Betty Perkins. Nancy was educated in the schools of Richland County. She later moved to Newark, NJ where she met and married Walter Cassey, who preceded her in death. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all she knew. Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Daisy Demby of Newary, NJ and Denise Worsley of Harker Heights, TX; sons, Gregory Grant of Newark, NJ and Henry (Betty) Cassey, Sr. of Gadsden, SC; grandsons; David Demby of Newark, NJ, Stephen Demby of Newark, NJ, Nathaniel Grant of Luisburg, NC, James Harris of Columbia, SC and Henry Cassey, II of Gadsden, SC; and granddaughter, Bernelle Cassey of Gadsden, SC. She also leaves a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. www.bosticktompkinsinc.com
