Reverend Norris Blaze Turner GREENWOOD - Reverend Norris Blaze Turner Husband of Ella M. Watson Turner died at his home, 1307 Rock House Road, Greenwood, SC on Wednesday December 27, 2017. He was born March 19, 1936 in Troy, SC the oldest of six children of the late Johnnie Turner and Helen Chiles Turner. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 12 PM At Gethsemane Baptist Church in Blair, SC with Pastor Eric Bell Presiding. The Body will be placed in the Church at 11:00 AM. Surviving besides his wife off the home are two daughters, Cassandra Turner Nelson and Sharon Turner of Alpharetta Ga., one foster son, Calvin L. Goodwin of Rock Hill, SC, three Granddaughters, BriElla, Kimberly, and Kianna Nelson all of Alpharetta, GA. One sister, Joyce Haywood and one brother, James Robert (Carolyn) Turner of Los Angeles Ca, Three sisters-in-laws Thelma Bentley of Columbia, SC, Adell Watson and Betty Watson of Rialto Ca., Two Brother-in-laws Robert (Dora) Watson of Greenwood and Anthony J. Watson of Columbia, SC Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 1PM at Little River Multicultural Complex with Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating and Rev Michael Butler presiding. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Nephews and Flower Bearers will be Nieces and Great Nieces. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Minsters. Honorary Flower Bearers Minister' wives. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday 6:00 PM -7:00 PM. Parks Funeral Home is assisting the Turner Family.
