Robert Marion Jones

COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Robert Marion Jones, 61, of Columbia, will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, conducted by Stewart Schnur, Minister of Twin City Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 o'clock on Monday, November 29, 2010, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Interment will be in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Jones died Friday, November 26, 2010. He was born in Columbia, SC to Ralph J. Jones, Sr. and the late Ruth Nesbitt Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Eau Claire, SC. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Eau Claire High School and a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Jones was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his father, stepmother, Edythe Jones; brother, Dale K. Jones; his niece, Rebecca Dawn Jones, all of Columbia, SC; and stepbrother, Wayne Tarrent of Lexington, SC.
