Lexington, South Carolina - Services for Ronald O. "Ron" Cunningham, 86, of Lexington will be private for the immediate family. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Ron Cunningham passed away November 25, 2021. He was born in Rockford, IL, the son of the late Orril and Genevieve Cunningham. He retired from the City of Columbia, SC as Personnel Director after 25 years of service. Ron was a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following service to his country in the US Navy.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jennifer Cunningham; son, Ronald O. Cunningham, Jr.; daughter, Amber Burrows; grandsons, Garrison and Hampton Burrows.
The family requests no flowers, please. Memorials may be made to Camp Kemo, Prisma Health Midlands Foundation, 1600 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
