I grew up at St. John Baptist Church. Not only did I attend church on Sunday, I attended Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and many programs and funerals. Reverend Roscoe C. Wilson was my pastor and he baptized me. I will never forget how I looked forward to hearing him preach and shaking his hand at the door after each service.
Reverend Wilson was kind and caring. He was a gentle man and was dedicated to his church, his congregation, his family and his community.
Continue to rest in Eternal Peace Reverend Wilson. I will always remember you.

"Earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal" My grandparents, James and Thomasina Anderson along with my mother Ruth and my aunts and uncles were faithful members under Rev. Wilson and I remember the great sermons he preached as he reached out to save souls. May God continue to strengthen and guide this family during this time
