Ruth Lee Obituary

Ruth Chapman Lee CAYCE - Ruth Chapman Lee, 93, formerly of Newberry, widow of James C. Lee, died January 20, 2018 at her residence. Born on February 9, 1924 in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late James Killian and Cora Belle Stoudemire Chapman. She was a member of Capers Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Dianne L. Kay of Cayce; a son, Glen Bundrick (Renee) of Enoree; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Mattie Oliver, Georgie Kohn and John H. Chapman; a son-in-law, Michael F. Kay; and a granddaughter, Erin Bundrick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Capers Chapel United Methodist Church c/o 331 Holloway Street, Pomaria, SC 29126 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
