Sandra Coulter Obituary

Sandra L. "Sandy" Coulter
Newberry - Sandra L. "Sandy" Coulter, 74, of Newberry, SC, went to be with Jesus and join her beloved Bus on July 3, 2015 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Newport News, VA on October 7, 1940, the daughter of the late Joseph Clifford and Mildred Grace Hendershot Bayne. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the late David L. "Bus" Coulter, on July 5, 1958. They were married for 56 years. She accepted Christ at age 12 and actively served her Savior in Children's Church, Sunday school, and in constant evangelism – even in her nursing home at Springfield Place in Newberry.
Sandy is survived by her son, David L. Coulter, Jr. and wife, Alena of Chapin; and daughters Camille L. Coulter of Irmo, Brie C. Bramlett of Columbia, and Kristen L. Paddock of Irmo; and her baby brother, Joseph "Joey" Bayne and wife, Jenny of Orlando, FL. Sandy was so proud of her seven grandchildren: the late Matthew, Meredith (fiancée, Chad Dial) and Jacob (wife, Becca Barrier) Coulter; Betsy and Nathan Bramlett; and Makenzie and William Paddock. For over 45 years, her "BFF" was Sharlene Heinselman of Parkersburg, WV.
Her family would like to thank NCMH for treating our sweet Mom with such compassion and dignity. We also appreciate the consideration shown to us by Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service.
Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at Christian Life Church's Brown Chapel (2700 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29210) at 5:30PM. The Celebration service will immediately follow at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, please help the ministries that held a special place in Mom's heart: Daybreak Pregnancy Center (http://daybreakpregnancy.com/) and Sistercare (http://sistercare.org/).
