Stella Hook

Stella Mae Peeples Hook CAYCE- Stella Mae Peeples Hook, 78, of Cayce passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Lexington Extended Care after a brief illness. Born on February 2, 1935 in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Eveline Christmas Peeples. She is survived by her husband, Claude D. Hook; daughter, Diane Rosenbeck; three sons, Durham (Sandra), Timmy and Mark; brother, Thomas R. Peeples and sister-in-law, Doris Peeples; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Charles A. Peeples, son, James Michael Hook and son-in-law, Elmer "Rosie" Rosenbeck. The family would like to thank her granddaughter, Sharon Moore, for taking Mama to doctor appointments and caring for her the last few years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at State Full Gospel Church, 200 State Pond Road, Gaston, SC. The Reverend Dallas Goff will officiate. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
