Tammy Woods Obituary

LEXINGTON - Services for Tammy Padgett Woods, 43, of Lexington, SC, will be held in the Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008. Family will receive friends 2 hours before the service at the funeral home. Officiating will be Reverend Jerry Brunson. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park Cemetery, other times the family will be at the home of Sue Padgett, 508 Willis Street, Batesburg. Pallbearers will be Justin Hartley, Dalton Padgett, JM Horne, Christopher Oswalt, Chase Woods and Trey Woods.

She was born in Prosperity, SC. Mrs. Woods was the daughter of Sue Padgett and the late Karl Padgett Sr.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her loving and devoted husband, James “Woody” Woods of Lexington; daughter, Lynne Woods of Lexington; sister, Wanda Hartley (Kevin) of Batesburg; brothers, Billy Padgett (Kendra) of Batesburg, Marty Padgett (Donna) of Leesville; 9 nieces and 4 nephews; special friends, Terry Bedenbaugh, Michelle Marshall, Trystan and Alexander Eubanks. She was predeceased by a brother, Karl Lane Padgett Jr.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Milton Shealy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
