T. J. Doughtie Jr. WILLISTON - Funeral services for Thomas Truitt "T. J." Doughtie, Jr., 49, of Williston, SC will be held three p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC. Burial will be at the Seven Pines Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight pm, Friday at the funeral home. T. J. passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was a son of Barbara Nichols Doughtie and the late Thomas Truitt Doughtie, Sr. He attended Seven Pines Baptist Church and retired from SRNS as a production operator. He was a US Navy Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Chavis Doughtie; sisters, Trina Doughtie Sanders of Barnwell, Dana (Barry) Jones of Snelling; brothers, George Doughtie of CA, John Doughtie of Barnwell, Ross (Shannon) Doughtie of Snelling; maternal grandmother, Fannie Nichols of IN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Patsy Chavis; sisters-in-law, Doris (Daryl) Rosier, Rebecca (Kevin) Zorn, Racheal (Jonathan) Neece; and a number of nieces and nephews.
