Irmo, South Carolina - Timothy Paul Baker, 65, of Irmo, SC, went to be with his Lord on Monday July 21, 2025 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Born on March 23, 1960 in Fairbanks, Alaska, he grew up in Pasadena, Texas before settling with his wife of 35 years, Patricia Baker, in Irmo, SC; together they have 4 children.
He leaves behind his wife, Patricia Baker; his children, Erin Baker, Christian Baker, Megan Mullin (Christopher), and Lindsay Baker; as well as his grandson, Dean Mullin; his sisters, Jeannie Donahue (Chuck), Barbara Whitted (Steve), Mary Baker (Mike), and Cathy McCombs (David); his brothers, Richard Baker (Kathy) and Thomas Baker (Irma); and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Cyril E. and Patricia A. Baker; his brother, Michael Baker; and his sister, Joann Green (Freddie).
Visitation will occur at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Chapin, SC on July 29, 2025 from 7-8pm, with the funeral being held on July 30, 2025 at Gateway Baptist Church in Irmo, SC at 10am; interment will be at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, SC. Contributions in Timothy's name may be made to the American Cancer Society. A full obituary can be found at the website of Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Chapin.

Mr Baker was a great neighbor who will be missed. Thank you for kindness you towards my family and I. Miss you already...didn´t get to see you very much because I didn´t know what was going on until you told me. I wanted to believe you would get better and beat this thing. God knew best.
