Timothy "Timmy" Allen Netecke
February 13, 1972 - May 14, 2022
Columbia, South Carolina - Timothy Allen Netecke "Timmy" passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born February 13, 1972, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Nancy Neumann and Raymond Netecke Sr.
Timmy was a graduate of Irmo High School, class of 1991. He served in U.S. Navy, stationed in Italy. Timmy was an avid University of South Carolina fan! He followed baseball and football faithfully. He served his community as a little league football coach and spending time raising funds for causes close to his heart. He spent the last years of his life with those he loved the most, his friends and family.
Timmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Virginia Neumann and his brother, Stacy Netecke. He is survived by his parents, Nancy Neumann and Ray Netecke (Linda); sister, Donna Netecke Spigner (Stuart); brothers, Ray Netecke (Terri) and Patrick Netecke (Angel). He will also be missed by his nieces, Erin Plunkett, Olivia Hedstrom (Christian), Emily Netecke, Abby Netecke, Reilly Netecke, Alexis Butler and his nephews, Ned Plunkett (Ashley), Bobby Plunkett (Stephanie), Colt Plunkett, Brayden Butler, Conner Plunkett, Maverick Plunkett, and Easton Plunkett.
The family will hold a celebration of life on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 3 PM at the family home. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
