He is survived by his children, James L. Barrs, Clayton W. Barrs, Sr., Gregory D. Barrs, and Melissa R. Barrs, all of West Columbia; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and his brother, John Henry Barrs of Swansea. He was predeceased by his first wife, Daisey Barrs; son, Robert L. Barrs; his three sisters and a granddaughter.

I am so sorry for your lost missy is the only one I met besides wes ad I can not even think of loosing a parent my prayrs are with you all keep your chin high and know he is better off now.

I love you Pop and you will never be forgotten. I sure am going to miss you dearly. Tell Grandma and the rest of the family "hey and I love them too"! Until we all reunite I'll remember you through great memories and I'll deffinately have great stories to tell the babies as they grow up. I love and miss you already. May you rest in peace.

It's been four days now since you left us to be with the lord. Oh how i miss your crazy self already. I am so thankful for the time i had with you these past few years.
