Karen Luzzi Obituary
Karen Johann Luzzi (Ostman), 57, of King, North Carolina, passed away on August 19, 2025 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Born on May 7, 1968, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Karen was the daughter of Robert and Johann Ostman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Ostman Purcell and her mother, Johann Ostman.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Luzzi; their three daughters: Elizabeth, Catherine and Rebecca Luzzi; and her father, Robert Ostman.
The enormous amount of faith she had and her unwavering love of God is what kept her grounded during her six and a half year fight against cancer. Karen never faltered in her faith or love and, in fact, grew stronger in both, becoming a beacon of hope for friends and family that were struggling. She was the strongest person I have ever known.
A celebration of Life will be held on September 20, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Foothills Christian Church, 819 Williams Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate nationally to The American Cancer Society, or locally to Cancer Services Inc. in Winston-Salem.

Karen was a trult remarkable woman-an incredible mother, devoted wife, and a beautiful friend to so many. Her warmth, kindness, and strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She faced her battle with cancer with such courage and grace, and her love for her family never wavered.
Though words are inadequate, I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how deeply she was loved and how profoundly she will be missed.
