Christine Byers Obituary

Christine B. (Fulton) Byers,74, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, ending her battle with Alzheimers Disease. Born in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Butler) Fulton.

Raised and educated in Attleboro, Chris graduated from Attleboro High School in 1968. After high school, she found work in local factories, including L.S. Peterson. Later, from the early 1980s through 2003, she worked at Creative Modeling and Die. At this time, Chris made a career change and received her CNA license in 2004. She began working at Madonna Manor as a CNA, later becoming the Nurses Secretary until her retirement in 2017.

Christine, aka Chrissy B, Touch, or Poopie, was caring and kind, always taking care of everyone around her. She could always be counted on to lend a hand, listen and advise, or provide some tough truth when needed. She found joy in simple things - time spent with family, a walk on the beach collecting sea glass, a ride on the back of a motorcycle, and Search-A-Word puzzles. She enjoyed attending the concerts, recitals, sporting events, and activities that her daughters participated in when growing up and was a frequent volunteer. Of note was her membership in the North Attleboro Band Parents Organization from 1985-1989. She later enjoyed attending the events of her grandchildren.

She loved meeting people and would strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She enjoyed time as a member of the Anawan Grange starting in 1999 and was in a bowling league at North Bowl in the early 2000s. If there was a gathering or event that might provide fun and laughter, Chris was an enthusiastic participant.

Left to celebrate her life are her daughters: Heidi Marini and her husband Larry Marini, of North Attleborough, and Heather Silvestri of Plainville; her grandchildren: Hadley Marini, Briar Marini, and Callan Marini, all of North Attleborough, Hannah Silvestri of Worcester, and Hunter Silvestri of Plainville; her siblings: Andrew Fulton and his wife Rita Fulton of Wrentham, Beth Kerrins of Seekonk, and Mark Hiltz and his husband Tim Hiltz; her nieces: Jill Pizarro, Julie Hobson, Megan Nicholson, and Rachel Moriarty, and many great-nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her niece and goddaughter Kayla Kerrins.

Family and Friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life service that will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at First Congregational Church, 675 Old Post Road, North Attleborough, MA 02760. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. https://alzfdn.org/donate/
