David Schofield Obituary

David M. Schofield "Schoie" "Davey" 42, of North Attleboro, MA., passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston MA, with the comfort of family by his side.

Born on February 23, 1981 in Attleboro, MA., He was the beloved son of Thomas "Skip" and Elizabeth (Reynolds) Schofield.

David was a joy; fun loving and mischievous. He had an abundance of love for our summer home at Bungay. The sentimental value and cherished memories of time spent at the lake with siblings greatly impacted his life. He enjoyed fishing and canoeing. He loved to watch the beautiful sunsets from the deck while having long, insightful conversations with his companion Maria. He loved playing hockey, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends. David was fearless to a fault. His laughter and sense of fun was contagious. He was quick witted and would laugh along at his own humor. He had the natural ability to draw people in. David also loved the solitude and serenity of being alone; spending endless hours pondering his purpose. He drew strength from his faith and family. He especially cherished his time spent with his cousins, and his lifetime childhood friends. His brother Derek was never far, always ready to guide. His best friend and confidant was his sister Lori-Beth. He was a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving siblings, Derek Schofield and his wife Lauren of Cumberland, RI.; and Lori-Beth Schofield of North Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by a paternal grandfather, Thomas H. Schofield; maternal grandmother, Abigail Cassidy; a cherished nephew, Ayden Schofield and dear nieces, Lyla and Lily Schofield. David also leaves behind his companion Maria IIarraza, his Godchildren; Isabel, Jacqueline, Issac, and Stella Chorney, and loving ties to his cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 7:15 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel".
