I first knew Dawn from First Christian Church in West Mansfield. We each moved on to different churches. Over the years we have run into each other in TJ Maxx (on more than one occasion!) throughout the years and most recently in the grocery store. She always was so gracious and kind, always with a smile. We would catch up on our lives and our families. We always talked about the Lord and shared how He was working in our lives. She was on my mind as I went in to Shaw's Saturday thinking I had not seen her since early summer. I didn't know that she had passed. It saddens me to know that there will be no more of those conversations. She was a lovely person and I am thankful that I had the privilege of knowing her.
I'm so sorry I can't be there today. Knowing that she is at home with the Lord brings me comfort and joy. God bless all of you.
