Eleanor Rabuffo Obituary

Eleanor Frances Rabuffo, 94, of North Attleboro passed away Monday evening, May 17, 2021 at her sons home surrounded by her devoted family. She was the wife of the late Albert Rabuffo for 48 years until his death in 2003.

Born August 26, 1926 in Boston, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Varnarin) Feroli.

Eleanor grew up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She moved to North Attleboro in 1957.

She worked as a secretary at the North Attleboro Fire Department for 37 years before retiring. Eleanor was a fixture for many years at the NAFDs Kids Day charity as a volunteer, even after retirement.

She is survived by her four children: Dolores Rabuffo of Attleboro, John Rabuffo of Norton, Mary Foley and husband Chris of North Attleboro and Joseph Rabuffo and wife Jackie of North Attleboro; Grandchildren: Heather Johnson and husband Bill of Plainville, Kristina Rabuffo of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Joseph Rabuffo of North Attleboro; 2 great-grandchildren: Addison and Ava Johnson of Plainville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings: M Louise Feroli, Arthur Feroli and Albert Feroli.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 21 at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with a Mass immediately following at St. Marys Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Attleboro Firefighters Kids Day Association, PO BOX 3215, North Attleboro, MA 02761.
