Garry Michael Roberts

1956 - 2022

Garry Michael Roberts, 66, of Attleboro, MA, passed away from medical complication brought on by Interstitial Lung Disease on December 25, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Deborah Jane (Fales) Roberts.

Born in Medford, MA on March 13, 1956, he was a son of Ruth M. (Nichols) Roberts a native of Medford, MA and current resident of North Attleboro, MA and the late William Frederick Roberts a native of North Attleboro, MA. He was raised and educated in North Attleboro where he was a 1975 graduate of North Attleboro High School. He earned an associate's degree in toolmanship.

He was a longtime resident of the City of Attleboro.

Prior to his retirement in September 2021, Garry was employed at the Mopar Warehouse in Mansfield, MA for more than 30 years. He was a member of the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW).

He treasured times spent at the family home in West Harwich, MA on Cape Cod, loved his canine companions, Bailey and Flynn, was a devoted New England sports team enthusiast, coached his daughters' sports teams in earlier years, but most of all treasured being a caring family man.

Having been awaiting a lung transplant himself, he gave the gift of life posthumously by being an organ donor.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his cherished children: Shelby Roberts of Pawtucket, RI, Meghan C. Roberts and her husband, Andrew Bradley, of Attleboro, MA; Jenna C. Roberts of Providence, RI, and Jake Roberts and his wife, Melody Roberts, of Johnston, Rhode RI, a grandson: Jack Bradley-Roberts of Attleboro, MA; his siblings: Donna M. Roberts and her companion, James Mancuso, of Attleboro, MA; William G. Roberts and his wife, Sandra Roberts, of Attleboro, MA; Karen R. Marshall and her husband, Gordon Marshall, of North Attleboro, MA; Susan C. Wolfsberger and her husband, Karl Wolfsberger, of North Attleboro, MA; John M. Roberts and his wife, Kerry Roberts, of North Attleboro, MA; Scott G. Roberts of Taunton, MA and Jeff Roberts of Attleboro, MA; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

A brief Time of Reflection led by family members will commence at the conclusion of visitation on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 7:00 pm.
