George Nieva Jr

George Nieva, Jr. of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022 at 89 years of age. Loving life partner of the late Janet Bregnard. Beloved son of the late Gloria (Ros) and George R. Nieva, Sr. Adored brother of Thomas Nieva and his wife Joyce of Foxboro and Virginia Acciavatti and her husband Peter of Buzzards Bay. Cherished grandfather of Megan Nunes and her husband Jason of Pomfret, CT, Amber White and her husband Chris of Chepachet, RI and Brandon Bregnard of Attleboro. George also leaves many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

George was born in New York City and moved to the Attleboro area later in life. He worked as a Union Steward and a Pressman for Stone Container in Mansfield. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and of St. Stephen's Parish.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 9-11 AM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery, 683 S. Main St., Attleboro.
