Judith E Lammi

1945 - 2022

Judith E. (Topping) Lammi, age 77, of Norton, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. She was the beloved wife of Robert N. Lammi, to whom she was wed for fifty-three years.

Born in Haverhill, MA on May 2, 1945, she was a loving daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Eleanor (Taylor) Topping.

Judy grew up in Foxborough, was a graduate of Foxborough High School and when younger was involved in the Foxborough 4-H Club. A resident of Norton for the past fifty years, she had worked in the food service department at Wheaton College in Norton and was a former home health aide.

Judy's family was truly the essence of her life and the center of her attention. She loved traveling, camping and the many summers spent at beautiful Horseneck Beach in Westport. She will always be remembered for the special place in her heart for animals and the joy and pleasure she received hosting family-get-togethers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Wendy Gibbons and her husband James, Sr. of Mendon, Karl Lammi and his companion Amy Harris of Franklin and Katharine Ramos and her husband Daniel of Attleboro. She was the cherished and adoring grandmother of Kara Gibbons, James Gibbons, Jr., Leia Ramos and the great grandmother of Irie Gibbons. She was the dear sister of the late Donald Topping, the late Daniel Topping and the late Charles Topping.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Friday, September 16th from 1:00-5:00 P.M. at the Norton VFW Post, 38 Summer Street, in Norton.
