June Louise Maynard

1935 - 2022

June Louise (Ludwig) Maynard, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022 at Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Merle (Ware) Ludwig and wife of the late Absalom "Buddy" Maynard, Jr.

June was born on May 6, 1935 in Foxborough and was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1953. She was employed for many years as a secretary for the former Foxboro Company. June and her late husband were avid dancers. June's focus was on her family and babysitting her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Beloved mother of Patricia Maynard of FL, Linda Maynard-Baez of FL, Karen Carreiro and her husband Steve of Pawtucket and Timothy Maynard and his wife Angela of Foxborough. Devoted grandmother of Brandon, Nicholas, Chadd, Charissa, Tony, Adam, Emily and Joshua. Great grandmother of Daeton, Sophia, Caedyn, Kole, Kamden, Scarlett, Harper and Quinn. Sister of Joyce Kidder of Wells, ME and her late husband Gary, Marjorie Ludwig of North Attleboro and her late husband Harold Weidman, Richard Ludwig and his wife Jean of Foxborough, Roy Ludwig and his wife Jill of York, PA and Janice Copeland of Wrentham and her late husband Richard and the late Marilyn Simmons.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 25 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough.
