Lawrence E "Grub" Solbo

1955 - 2019

Lawrence E. "Grub" Solbo, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the son of the late Peter and Cheryl (Illingsworth) Solbo.

Larry was born in Norwood on May 14, 1955 and was raised in Wrentham and Foxborough. He has resided in West Harwich for the past few months and was a former longtime resident of North Attleboro.

Larry was the owner/operator of L. E. Solbo Excavating and Construction. A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a longtime member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club out of Brockton and enjoyed building and restoring motorcycles. He was also a licensed NASCAR Pit Crew member and passionate about his love of racing. He traveled extensively with his family and friends.

Beloved former husband of Dawn Juergens of West Harwich. Devoted father of Brittney Jean Luna of Houston, TX, Cody Lawrence Solbo and his wife Katie of Cypress, TX, Jeffrey Ciavattone and his wife Melanie of Myrtle Beach, SC and Holly "Mousie" Ciavattone of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Marissa, Jizelle and Isaiah. Brother of Steven Solbo of Falmouth, Peter Solbo and his wife Michelle of Foxborough, Charles Woodward and his wife Deborah of Foxborough, James Woodward and his wife Noreen of Northborough and Kimberly Woodward and her partner Keith Noftle of Blackstone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
