Lindo Galanti Obituary
Born in Attleboro on November 9, 1948, he was the son of the late Lindo D. Galanti Sr. and the late Margaret (Dei) Galanti. He was raised and educated in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School, Class of 1966.
Lindo was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. Lindo enlisted in August 1967 and received an Honorable Discharge in May 1971. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Lindo was an avid sports fan and he especially enjoyed thoroughbred racing and greyhound racing, and for many years Lindo was a regular at the former Raynham-Taunton Greyhound Park.
Lindo was the brother of the late Linda (Galanti) DePillo and is survived by his loving sister Mary (Galanti) Sheehan.
Lindo was the proud uncle of his four nephews and one niece – Robert Sheehan, Ralph DePillo Jr., Peter DePillo, David DePillo and Paula (DePillo) Henry. He also leaves behind his great nieces Liana, Andria, Francesca, Olivia and Jessica.
Lindo's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Garden Place Healthcare and Sturdy Memorial Hospital for the outstanding care and support provided to Lindo during his long period of declining health.
Per Lindo's wishes, services are private and visiting hours are omitted.

I was a dear friend of Lindo´s when I was working at the Mansfield housing authority. I´m so sorry to hear about his passing. Lu do an I would have lots of long conversations over the years at housing. My deepest condolences to his family
