I live in Savannah, GA. I was pen pals with Marilyn (I called her Mal), for over 30 years. I loved her as a dear friend and confidant. She was my rock at times. We wrote each other about everything, knowing neither of us would break a confidence. I am still trying to accept that she is truly gone, but I treasure her memory with so much love in my heart. I send my condolences to the family; I feel like I know you all. She loved you all with all of her heart and was so proud to be your wife/mother/grandmother/etc.
Mal, you were a wonderful pen pal and a beloved friend. Thank you !
Love, Laura H

Darrell and family, I am so truly sorry for your loss. I know you all loved her so much and will miss Marilyn more then words can Express. I wish we all could have spent more time together with not so many miles between us. Marilyn's love and memories will live on in all of you.
