Mark Sullivan

Mark Sullivan, 60, of Foxboro, MA, passed away at home in the company of his family on October 23, 2024. He was born in Norwood on November 23, 1963, to Philip and the late Giselle (Albert) Sullivan. He graduated from Walpole High School in 1982 before racing into a professional motocross career and eventually settling down to dedicate his time to his family.

Mark left behind a legacy of great accomplishments, a lifetime of success in both motocross and his own construction business, as well as countless family and friends. He was well known for his dedication to his kids, his family, and his community. He was always one to lend a hand (and a lecture) to help get you across the finish line, whether it was at the job site or the race track. He was as stubborn as he was generous, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn (Mulkern) Sullivan; his four kids, Morgan, Joseph, Seamus, and John Sullivan; and his siblings, Kevin Sullivan and his partner Cindy, Tom Sullivan and his wife Donna, Janice Katz and her husband David, LeeAnn Bruno, Maureen Petrosky and her fiancé Tom Morandi, and the late Sheryl Harper. Also survived by many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mark's funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 2nd at St. Mary's Church (176 Washington St) in East Walpole, MA, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00pm at the Chapel Meeting House (68 Mill St) in Foxboro, MA. His family has asked that you bring a favorite photo of Mark to his service.
