Martha Conti Obituary

Martha Iannazzi Conti, who found the perfect home for hundreds, dies at 68.

Martha Iannazzi Conti, an Attleboro REALTOR whose encyclopedic knowledge of real estate proved valuable to her clients, died on September 21,2025. Hospitalized, she was on her way home to a residence which took her seven years to locate, in Attleboro.

Her husband of 43 years, Richard Conti, said the death was caused by complications of her several diseases and that she was "sharp as a tack" to the end.

A graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy, Lawrence Central Catholic and Marymount College where she Majored in Art. She and Richard moved here when the traffic kiosk was in the middle of the downtown street center. She became a REALTOR in 1989 and earned several awards with Coldwell Banker before forming Conti Real Estate.

She was active in the local REALTORS Association, participated in Broker Tours, Management and strived to prevent it from becoming regionalized. She encouraged Richard to get his Broker license, Certification to teach Real Estate classes, and partnered with his Auction business to sell houses and everything in them.

She had a gift for listening to Buyers and understanding their perfect home, so much so that many have never moved. She skillfully managed closing disasters, including one where the Buyer was arrested by the Police on the property he had just purchased.

She owned four Golden Retrievers; Dylan (she spelled it Dillon), Sunshine, Sophie and has been outlived by Zoltan.

Locally famous for correcting restaurant food servers not to use the term "Guys" instead of "Folks" because she was not a guy.

She held a Paul Harris Fellow Awarded by the Attleboro Rotary Club and was active in the 2011 regeneration of the Attleboro Farmers Market, served over a decade on the Attleboro Trust Commission and the Annual Attleboro Fireworks Committee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 165 West Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
