Michael Murphy Obituary
Mike was born on January 23, 1955 in Norwood and received his Bachelor's degree from Bridgewater State College. He was employed as an engineer in the medical device industry for many years. Mike was an avid woodworker and handyman. He most enjoyed spending time with his family as a devoted father and grandfather.
Mike is survived by his son Michael Murphy and his wife Lauren of Foxborough and their children Eli and Addy, and Sean Murphy and his wife Leann of Norwood and their children James and Aiyana. Mike was also devoted to Linda Murphy and her son, Kyle Murphy of Attleboro. Brother of Frank Murphy and his wife Anne of Mansfield and Stephen Murphy of Nashua, NH.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, July 30 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. Burial will be private. Steve and Frank (and progeny)- you guys and I have felt the pain and loss of parents; I cannot comprehend the feelings you are going through from the loss of a sibling. So many fond and crazy memories of growing up next to you guys. I believe I spent as much time at your house as I did my own. Your family was always so welcoming . I won´t be able to come down from Maine as I am basically confined to a bed or chair due to a bad diabetic heel ulcer, and a left hip in need of replacement, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
