Paul Danforth Obituary

Paul F. Danforth, age 70, of Norton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn (Lyon) Danforth for 52 years.

Born in Attleboro, on July 23, 1953, to Viola (Drew) and Albert Danforth. Paul was educated in Norton and attended Norton High School. He was self-employed, opened and operated Danforth Asphalt Paving. Paul loved classic cars, playing poker and enjoying a good meal. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchild.

In addition to his wife Kathryn, Paul is survived by his children, Paul F. Danforth II, and Wendy Dufresne and her husband Barry, his adored grandchildren, Hana-Rose, Jenna, Haleigh, Shaelyn, Aidan and Mairead, his great-grandson, John, his sister in-laws Patricia and June Oliveria and his brother in-law's Scott Shotzberger, Roy Lyon and Dale Lyon, along with many nieces and nephews. Paul was also predeceased by his siblings, Robert Oliveria, Jeannette McKenzie, David Oliveria, Judy Shotzberger, William Danforth and Michael Danforth.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Timothy Plains Cemetery, Plain St, Norton, Ma. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
