Steven Lynch Obituary

Steven P. Lynch, age 54, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth R. (Call) Lynch, to whom he was wed for thirty years.

Born in Boston, MA on July 7, 1968, he was a son of Jean Magadieu and her former husband Ronald Magadieu, Sr. and the late Paul Lynch.

Steve grew up in Mansfield, was a 1987 graduate of Mansfield High School and received his certificate as a licensed electrician. For the past twenty-nine years, he was employed as a Union Electrician for I.B.E.W Local 103 in Boston.

Steve's family and friends were the essence of his life, especially the memories created at his second home in Dennis. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed throwing darts and golfing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted daughters: Haley E. Lynch of Mansfield and Rachael M. Lynch of Mansfield. He was the dear brother of Ronald Magadieu, Jr. of North Attleboro and Jonathan "JD" Magadieu of California. He was the much-loved brother-in-law of Michael Call and his wife Susan of Mansfield, Kathy LoDico and her husband Paul of Mansfield, Kenneth Call and his wife Theresa of North Easton and James Call of Florida. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 7th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Dear Liz, it's been years since you cut my hair and my daughter's...I was looking up an obituary when I saw Steve's name, and I was in shock. I can't imagine what you're going through. I can remember when you showed me your wedding pictures. It doesn't seem like 30 years ago. Keep the memories alive! And I pray you find comfort in Our Lord. May Steve Rest In Peace.
With sympathy, Beth Schillawski

I just found out lynchy wish I could have came to say my goodbyes. It was good seeing you a few months back at the Mansfield dump. Lots of good memories playing darts against you for years and playing as a teammate for some years with Pete, and Shawn. You were always a great person to hang with. You will be missed. As Steve´s neighbors from Flax Street on the Cape we have only known the two of you a short time - but it is so clear how much love you have for each other. Seeing you both work in the yard - then go swimming in the pond with your tubes - and have your evenings together by the fire pit seemed a perfect way to spend time. We always admired Steve´s dedication to your family by getting up so early and putting in the hours to create such a happy life. He was always so kind and welcoming to us - stopping over to talk even after a long day. It´s so hard to even look at your house now - we keep waiting for the green truck and your Jeep to pull up. While your hearts are filled with grief we pray that those wonderful memories and the love you shared even in the smallest and simplest of moments will start to fill your souls with warmth. Steve is and will remain in our prayers daily and we are certain his kindness and love has provided him an immediate path to be with God - one day awaiting your return to him. May his memory be eternal.
