Stuart Neily Obituary
Born September 30, 1932 in Brighton, MA he was the son of the late Wilbur R. and Wyona F. (Brown) Neily.
Stuart was raised and educated in Brighton, MA, a graduate of Brighton High School. He also attended Northeastern University. Throughout the years he lived in Auburndale, MA, Lexington, MA and Harwich, MA before settling in Attleboro.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force Pacific Region as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. From which he was honorable discharged.
Stuart worked for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co., Raytheon Corporation and RH Cheney Inc. He was affiliated with the Attleboro Elks Club and Audubon Society of Massachusetts. He enjoyed wildlife viewing, traveling, outdoor sports, baking and everything New England. He truly enjoyed spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Barbara Hanson of Attleboro; his children, Ellen Martins (Paul) of Norton, MA, Brian Neily of Attleboro and Karen Hull (Bill) of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren, Christopher Martins and Justin Martins of Norton, Joshua Hull of Greencastle, PA, Emily Hull and Andrew Hull both of Chambersburg, PA and great granddaughter, Harper Hull of Greencastle, PA. As well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Neily and a brother, Walter Neily.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00AM at the All Saints' Episcopal Church, 121 North Main St., Attleboro, MA. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Audubon Society of Massachusetts 208 South Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773 www.massaudubon.org or the Hebron Food Pantry P.O. Box 92 Attleboro, MA 02703 www.hebronfoodpantry.org
