Irene Grim Obituary

Irene Grim was born to Frank and Stella Cox (Madewell) on Dec. 26, 1935 in Stroud, Okla. Irene's marriage to Isaac Grim, in which two daughters were born, Lorrie and Sonia, was blessed for 60 years. She cared for him and her daughters deeply and until the passing of Isaac on Jan. 13, 2017 and her daughter Sonia Welch in 2022. Irene assisted her family by selling produce for many years. No one can love and care for her family as much as Irene did. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Isaac Grim and daughter Sonia Welch. She is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Autry; her two grandchildren, Jennifer Hirsch and Riley Nelson; and eleven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Exeter District Cemetery.
